LONG TERM STORAGE SALISBURY
Sometimes storage isn’t a short-term fix. Whether you’re keeping furniture while living abroad, holding business stock on an ongoing basis, storing belongings after downsizing, or simply need reliable overflow space that doesn’t come with a fixed-term lease, long term storage needs to be secure, well-maintained, and flexible enough to end when your situation changes rather than when a contract dictates.
At All Boxed Salisbury, long term storage works the same way as short term. There are no fixed contracts, no minimum stays, and no price increases the longer you store. You pay monthly and give us seven days’ notice when you’re ready to leave. Whether that’s in six months or six years, the terms stay the same.

When Long Term Storage in Salisbury Makes Sense
Long term storage solves a different kind of problem to short term. You’re not bridging a gap between two dates. You need somewhere safe and well-maintained to keep your belongings for an extended period, and you want the reassurance that the arrangement can flex if your plans change. Here are the most common reasons Salisbury customers use our long term storage:
Moving from a larger Salisbury home to something smaller doesn’t mean having to part with furniture, seasonal items, or sentimental belongings you’re not ready to let go of. A long term storage unit gives you the space your new home doesn’t, without the pressure to make rushed decisions about what stays and what goes.
During Home Renovation or Building Work
Home renovations, major refurbishments, or building projects often require an entire home or specific rooms to be cleared. Long term storage provides a dust-free, secure space for your furniture and valuables until the work is complete, keeping them safe from damage and freeing up space for contractors.
Living or working abroad
If you’re leaving Salisbury for an extended period, whether for work, travel, or family reasons, long term storage keeps your belongings safe and accessible when you return. Our flexible terms mean you’re not tied to a contract that doesn’t match the length of your time away.
Business archive and stock storage
Businesses across Salisbury use long term storage for document archives they’re required to retain, seasonal stock rotation, and equipment between contracts. Flexible monthly terms mean you avoid the overhead of a commercial lease for space you may not always need.

Keeping Your Belongings in Good Condition Over Time
For long term storage, the condition of your unit matters more than it does for a two-week stay. All units at our Salisbury facility are indoor rooms within a building, not outdoor steel containers. This means your belongings are protected from rain, condensation, temperature extremes, and the kind of moisture build-up that can damage furniture, electronics, and soft furnishings over months or years.
If you’re storing furniture long term, wrap it in blankets or furniture pads rather than plastic sheeting, which can trap moisture against surfaces. Make sure everything is clean and completely dry before it goes in. Organise your unit so that items you might need to access occasionally are near the front.
You can check unit availability directly on the All Boxed Salisbury Bookings Page.
How Pricing Works
Pricing is based on the size of the unit you choose, with our smallest 10 sq ft locker starting from £9.95 + VAT per week. Larger units are priced accordingly, depending on the amount of space you need. Your rent is paid monthly by direct debit, with the first payment taken by card or cheque when you move in. Insurance is also required at £9 per £1,000 of goods stored per month, unless you already have your own cover in place.
There are no setup fees, admin charges, deposits, or exit fees to worry about, and your price stays the same no matter how long you store for.
